 TERMINAL TRANSMISSION #30 :   DIRTY THIRTY by Chris La Vigna ( @Chris_LaVigna ) It's a big hit with the ladies! Today's broadcast of TERMINAL TRANSMISSION was pretty easy breezy, I must say. I guess after thirty shows it would only make sense that I'd be nice and settled in to my role as a digital broadcaster. Today's brilliant broadcast of TERMINAL TRANSMISSION was a smashing success, and a welcome break from all the unpacking and settling in I've been doing since my big move. I feel even more comfortable in my own skin as a digital broadcaster, which helps me as I adjust to living in a new space. This prolonged election nightmare was a real endurance test, but one thing that helped ease the pain was the fact that System of A Down, dropped not one, but two--count 'em-- TWO new songs! I couldn't help but play them both at the top of the show. Today's TERMINAL TRANSMISSION happened to fall on Election Day 2020, a day that will go down in history as one where we fought to preserve whatever echoes of a soul this incredibly flawed nation may or may not even have. It's hard for me to be funny or wacky right now. As of this writing, no results have come in yet. I fear for myself, my loved ones, this country, and for my fellow Americans who might not survive another four years of a Donald Trump presidency. I also know in my heart that if Joe Biden wins, that the battle will still be far from over. The Biden/Harris ticket represents little more than a half-hearted return to the dysfunctional status quo that created the dissatisfaction and inequality that allowed Trump's rise to happen in the first place.
