TERMINAL TRANSMISSION #60: A SHOW FOR LLOYD-O
TERMINAL TRANSMISSION #60:
A SHOW FOR LLOYD-O
by Chris La Vigna (@Chris_LaVigna)
Today's TERMINAL TRANSMISSION was an awesome time and a great way to ring in sixty episodes of this weird little internet radio show. Lloyd-O has long been a mascot for all of my creative endeavors, so it's only fair that he get an entire hour of KPISS digital airtime dedicated to his glory.
My Bandcamp featured artist was a Chilean death metal band called Phantasmagore, and I played the track "Insurrection Or Submission" off their new EP of the same name.
Sadly, I think this is going to be my last post-show write up. As much as I've enjoyed doing these in the past, they've become more and more of a chore for me as of late. And let's be real, who the hell is actually reading these things anyways? Don't get me wrong, I'm aware that that statement could apply to pretty much every entry on this blog of mine, but even the lowest-clicked Q-Recs got more traction than these.
Honestly, I think the main reason I kept these posts going is because I knew that without them, my blog would fall into another long bout of inactivity, and I didn't want that to happen. But things are changing for me-- for the better! I have more film projects that are beginning to get off the ground, and I'm going to need to dedicate more time to them, so little things like these Terminal Transmission entries are just going to have to wind down as a result.
As I have mentioned before, eventually, I won't be able to even do Terminal Transmission anymore, but it'll be easier to fit the show into my schedule if all I have to do after a broadcast is post the show up onto the KPISS site real quick, as opposed to having to do that and type out a whole blog post along with it. And I'm still going to try to keep posting cool writings on this blog! WRITE 'EM TIL YOU CAN'T WRITE NO MORE will never die, at least not until I do!
Besides, I'll probably do at least one more of these for the very last T.T. broadcast anyway. If you missed the 60th episode when it was airing live, you can stream it here via the KPISS website. You can also catch up on past shows here. It's been real.
