It's okay, we've all been Bad Santas this year...


Listen up you bozos, It's Christmas time. We don't mess around when it comes to Christmas time here on TERMINAL TRANSMISSION. We take this season and all the magic and wonderment contained within it seriously, understand? So you best get to deckin' them halls and drinkin' that eggnog, or I'll get my main dude Krampus to come to your place and just completely mess you up. THIS IS NOT A GAME. That's why I concocted a solid playlist full of holiday classics, mixed with a heavy dose of more rockin' contemporary fare. It's fun for the whole freakin' family!

Anyways, My "Bandcamp Pick Of The Week" for this program was "Giving In The Name Of" by Furnace and The Fundamentals, a parody band out of Australia. I'm not going to lie, I discovered this band by simply logging on to Bandcamp and typing "Christmas" into the search bar. I've never heard of them before, but after hearing their completely bonkers re-imagining of one of the best protest songs of all time, you can definitely call me a fan. Throw these awesome Australians some money, they deserve it!

TRACK REVIEW:  MAINTENANCE - "LOW LIFE" by Chris La Vigna ( @instant_insanity_productions ) "Alright, who's been putting 'shrooms in the dog food again?"                           It's been quite some time since I've felt compelled to post anything on this blog. Life comes at you fast, y'know? I suspect the fellas in Maintenance, who in my opinion are one of the most consistently interesting bands in the 914 music scene, would agree with that particular truism.  Though the band has been playing plenty of gigs over the last year or so, they have been largely quiet when it comes to dropping new music.  It's more than understandable when you consider just how deep of an impact the Covid-19 pandemic has had on not only the local music scene, but musicians and venues across the country.
