TERMINAL TRANSMISSION #17: SPLATTER

Image
TERMINAL TRANSMISSION #17 :  SPLATTER By Chris La Vigna ( @Chris_LaVigna ) Jackson Pollock, eat your heart out... Today's broadcast of TERMINAL TRANSMISSION was solid. I'll admit that I felt a bit all over the place, but I think I managed to pull through and deliver a quality show. I hope those of you who tuned in felt the same way! My Bandcamp Pick Of The Week was the song "Big Order Faith" by Cronies . Solid heavy tunes from a New York band that I discovered via the Kpiss slack channel. Shoutout to the DJ that dropped their link, whomever you are. I also played some Mr. Bungle, Tom Waits, Soundgarden, Sick Head, and more. I also had to mention briefly the situation with Jacob Blake , the latest victim of police brutality in the United States. Blake is in stable condition after being shot seven times in the back by Wisconsin PD after attempting to break up a fight. I can only hope that he manages to overcome his injuries, and get a chance to live on and seek justic...

TERMINAL TRANSMISSION #16 :  ELECTRIC ELDRITCH ABOMINATIONS by Chris La Vigna ( @ Chris_LaVigna ) Eat it up you filthy monsters... Today's broadcast of TERMINAL TRANSMISSION was another great one for the books. Aside from the fact that I tripped over my words a few times on the air in the early parts of the broadcast, everything flowed along nice and smooth(ish) as usual. I also noticed some increased activity in the Kpiss chat, hopefully I can keep that going and growing. My Bandcamp Pick Of The Week was the song "Knife" By Toxic Crew , off their new EP Pimp II: Second Impact (dope EVA reference fellas). They're a solid 4 piece hardcore band straight out of Westchester, NY and they deserve the attention of your ears, so check them out! I also played some Knocked Loose, Flipper, D.R.I., Cradle of Filth, and more. If you missed today's live broadcast, you can stream it here . You can also listen to other past episodes here . Stay safe you hooligans! I'll see ...

TERMINAL TRANSMISSION #15 :  KPPX REBEL RADIO by Chris La Vigna ( @Chris_LaVigna ) Rock on! Today's episode of TERMINAL TRANSMISSION was solid (solid as a rock). It was the kind of smooth show that lets me know I'm really beginning to come into my own as an internet radio DJ. KPPX and The Lone Rangers would be proud. My Bandcamp Pick Of The Week was the song "Annabelle" by The Overlooked , a pop-punk band out of Ohio. Big ups to them for recording such a great song, and props to the boys in For Lack Of A Term for letting me know about them! Stuff like this is why I love listening to/communicating with independent artists. I also played some Motörhead, Regan Youth, Losers, Tobacco ( I'M THE NEW BABYSITTER!! ) and more. if you missed today's broadcast, you can stream it off the Kpiss.fm website here . You can also catch up on past episodes here . Rock on everybody! I'll see you all next week! TT #15 TRACKLIST : Seatbelts - Tank! (Cowboy Bebop Opening Theme...

TERMINAL TRANSMISSION #14: TRACKING...

TERMINAL TRANSMISSION #14 :  TRACKING... by Chris La Vigna ( @Chris_LaVigna ) Today's episode of TERMINAL TRANSMISSION was so good, I forgot that those of us in the tri-state area (NY/NJ/CT) are all on alert because of a hurricane hovering around in our midst! Seriously though everyone, stay safe out there. If you can, stay inside and rock out in the comfort and safety of your own home. My Bandcamp pick of the week is the song "Good Day CafĂ©" by For Lack Of A Term . A great rock band from Yonkers whom I've had the pleasure of seeing/hosting on my sketch show IT'S OUR SHOW (We Do What We Want) in the past. They're not only terrific musicians, but just genuinely cool dudes to hang/work with. I also played some songs from Queens Of The Stone Age, Djerv, Baby Metal, Tobacco (can't wait for his new album in October!), Anthrax, and more. If you missed the live broadcast, you can stream it here via the Kpiss.fm website. You can also catch up on other episodes of...
